Month in Review: October
October has been an exciting month for our team. The key milestone of the month was the release of dedicated IBAN account service at SpectroCoin. It can be regarded as the core integration between Bankera and SpectroCoin that will enable more fiat payment channels for SpectroCoin clients in the long term.
What has been done in October?
First of all, we have released a dedicated international bank account number (IBAN) functionality at SpectroCoin. From now on, all SpectroCoin users can get a dedicated IBAN in their own name. The fresh feature makes it possible to send and receive funds not only to/from bank accounts in your name but also to/from any bank account within Europe.
On the 7th of October, Bankera’s AML conference BALTIC AML FORUM 2020 took place. The conference was an excellent opportunity for our Compliance team to enhance their knowledge, exchange best practices with other stakeholders, including regulators and service providers. We also believe that the event will help to strengthen our image as FinTech thought leaders in the region as well as the whole of Europe.
On the marketing side, we are continuing to intensify Bankera and SpectroCoin marketing campaigns by focusing on increased publicity and outreach.
What to expect in November?
In November, we expect to make the first transaction on Bankera card and soon start offering Bankera cards to the public. Card orders will be processed on Bankera internet banking platform.
This month, we will also start official testing of SEPA instant payments. If successful, we expect to enable instant payments for all Bankera clients in the first quarter of 2021.
On the SpectroCoin side, we are planning to launch SpectroCoin Exchange, currently known as Bankera Exchange, by the end of this year. Rebranding would finalise the transition of all crypto-related products to the SpectroCoin brand.
We also have exciting news regarding trading pairs. SpectroCoin Exchange users can expect new pairs with fiat currencies for trading, while we are also working to enable additional cryptocurrencies and tokens at SpectroCoin. Hopefully, the implementation process can be completed by the end of this year.
In parallel, we are continuing to work on Bankera mobile wallet and other major projects. For more information about our latest developments, follow us on the major social media channels.
