Month in Review: September 2026
September was a busy month at Bankera. We launched new features in Internet Banking and the mobile app, saw strong growth across the business, kicked off the conference season and opened a new office in Kaunas. Here is what happened and what is coming up in October.

Product updates
Request payment details. Need to receive money from someone abroad? With the new request payment details feature, you can quickly get the exact instructions your payer needs to send you an international (SWIFT) payment. Go to Account → Request → SWIFT, enter the payment details, and Internet Banking will generate the correct incoming payment instructions for you. No more guessing which details to share.

With support for 21 currencies, receiving payments from around the world is easier than ever. Need a currency that is not on the list? Just drop us a message and we will do our best to offer it to you.
A quick note: all of these currencies are supported for outgoing payments too. To send a payment in one of them, first exchange your funds into the currency you want to send under Account → Exchange.
Improved user rights management. If you manage a business account, the user rights section (Account settings → Accounts → User rights) now gives you a more accurate picture of your team's access. For example, users who no longer have any rights (no administrator rights, no payment creation rights and no accessible accounts enabled) will now appear as Disabled.
Bank account identity statement. Last but not least, the bank account identity statement is now available in Internet Banking and mobile banking. If you need one, you can download it under Account → Request → Download Account Information.
Business highlights
On the business side, the first three quarters of 2026 were very strong. Over the last 9 months, Bankera onboarded 146.3% more business clients than during the same period last year.
BankingLab, our technology arm, keeps growing too. Last month alone it processed €7.41 billion worth of payments, which is 30.3% more than in September last year.
We are also happy to share that BankingLab has signed a contract with a financial institution based in North America. This marks the start of its presence in a completely new region where its software will be used.
Conferences and a new office
September also kicked off the conference season. On 24–25 September, Antanas Aleksiejūnas, CEO of the BankingLab group companies, attended Lūžio taškas (Tipping Point), the annual conference for business owners and executives in Palanga, Lithuania.

The following week, he joined the Bankera and SpectroCoin sales teams in Lisbon for the SBC conference, where they met current and potential partners.

And to keep up with the growth we have seen in recent months, we have opened a new office in Kaunas.
What are we planning in October?
Hiring. One of our key priorities is growing the team. If you want to join us, check our open positions at careers.bankera.com.
Technology. On the technical side, we are working on Agentic Cards, so that cards can be used for automated solutions. This includes not only classic cases like automating advertising purchases, but also enabling AI agents to make payments.
Card acquiring. This year Bankera became a principal member of Visa and Mastercard for card acquiring (we have been a principal member for card issuing since 2020), and we are now working to onboard our first card acquiring customers. If you want to accept card payments for your business with Bankera, contact our sales team at [email protected].
Events. This month we are also attending the Riga Comm conference in Riga, Latvia. If you are there, come and say hello!
Thank you for being with us, and see you in the next update!
