On November 25th, we announced that Bankera was going to have its own exchange platform as part of our goal of becoming a one-stop shop for cryptocurrency users. We wanted to work closely with our ICO contributors to develop a digital currency exchange platform that fits the needs of the crypto community. Thus, we launched a trading competition designed to test our platform. After much anticipation, we are finally revealing the winners for the first round of the contest. These winners will receive over 2 BTC worth of prizes.
Today (8th of January, 2018), Bankera paid its nineteenth net transactional revenue share to Bankera token holders.
This week, a major crackdown on cryptocurrency related card providers happened, and our main card issuer (WaveCrest) suspended all cards issued to cryptocurrency companies. It was a major shock for the industry and especially providers who were only offering prepaid cards. However, the effect of this for Bankera/SpectroCoin will be minor as we already have an agreement with a new card issuer in place, as well as we are not solely a prepaid card provider.
